Alisson is hoping Mohamed Salah will eventually sign a new contract at Liverpool.

Salah’s contract runs out and he is due to enter talks with foreign clubs next month over a free transfer.

However, talks have recently taken place over a new deal with the 32-year-old and Alisson is hopeful Salah will end up staying at the club.

“We all want him to sign a new contract to stay at the club. I wish the best for the team and him,” Alisson said after the win over Girona.

“The important thing is that we keep doing what we are doing,” Alisson said to สมัคร ufabet. “We didn’t play a brilliant game [against Girona]. And we know we could have done better but it was enough to take three points and keep up the wining run.

“We know how important it is to finish in the top eight [in the Champions League.] We were very focused on that aim.”

Salah is in his seventh season with the Merseysiders, having scored 16 goals and provided 12 assists in 22 appearances so far.

The Brazilian believes the speculation surrounding Salah’s future has not affected the player’s form at all.

“He’s very calm. He doesn’t seem like someone who lets things like that affect him. His mind is focused on his goal,”

Salah’s penalty also helped Liverpool beat Girona and maintain their record of six straight wins in the Champions League this season.
