Serie A side Como have completed the signing of former England and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Dele Alli. Who was on trial after impressing under manager Cesc Fabregas. Alli joined the club
‘s winter break camp in Marbella and has continued to train with the squad since returning to Italy.
He has impressed enough to be handed a contract until June 2026. With the option to extend, and will be available to start tomorrow’s game against Udinese.
The 28-year-old, who has won 37 caps for England, has had a career hampered by injuries and off-field issues.
He has also played for Tottenham Hotspur. Everton and most recently on loan at Besiktas until the end of his contract in June 2024.
“The club believes in Dele’s potential and is committed to helping him rediscover his best form. His experience and leadership qualities will undoubtedly benefit the squad,” Como manager Cesc Fabregas said in a statement.
“The club recognises his exceptional talent and is excited to bring him into the team. The focus will be on providing Dele with a supportive environment where he can gradually integrate into the squad.”
