Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has revealed Ezri Konsa and Amadou Onana will miss Saturday’s clash with Crystal Palace.
Konsa suffered a hip injury while playing for England in the 3-0 UEFA Nations League win over Greece and has returned to the club for further assessment.
Meanwhile, Amadou Onana was injury while on international duty with Belgium and will not be available for Saturday’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
However, instead what occurred was a series of injuries to its international stars through the two-week period.
Many of the club’s biggest players were sent home from their camps putting Emery’s side into an injury crisis.
Now, ahead of their first game back, Emery has confirmed that multiple players are out but one duo will return to the squad on Saturday.
“They have minor injuries, they both need to rest and recover, and every day is very important,” Emery said before the game.
“For tomorrow (Saturday), they won’t be able to play. Maybe both of ยูฟ่าเบท them will be available for the next match.”
After this weekend’s games, Villa have a big game in the UEFA Champions League waiting for them when they host Italian giants Juventus at home on Wednesday, November 27.
