Brazil youngster Estevao Willian has revealed he wants to wear the No. 41 shirt when he joins Chelsea next year.
The 17-year-old signed for Chelsea in the summer but will have to wait until he turns 18 to join the club, meaning he will face new team-mates next summer.
Estevao has also impressed for Palmeiras, and was recently named the Samba Rookie of the Year.
Estevao discussed his favourite number and favourite position to play. “I don’t have a favourite number but I like to wear No. 41. If I can get No. 41 it would be great,” Estevao told โปรโมชั่น ufabet. “I’ve always played as an attacking midfielder and sometimes I can play one-on-one on the wing to create one-on-one situations.
Of course I respect [Palmereira coach] Abel Ferreira’s decision. I know I enjoy playing on the wing more but who knows? Maybe in the future I’ll play where I’m more comfortable. That’s standing inside,” Estevao also revealed he has spoken to new team-mate Palmer via Instagram, as well as former Chelsea defender Thiago Silva, who now rejoins Fluminense in Brazil.
“In Brazil, there’s a Chelsea agent who speaks to you, Cole Palmer spoke to me on Instagram and then James, who said if I need anything, just tell him. ” Thiago Silva spoke to me after the last game, he said the club is top and is waiting for me with open arms.”
