‘Malouda’ warns Chelsea to stop thinking about acquiring ‘Sancho’

Florent Malouda has urged Chelsea to abandon their pursuit of big-money signing Jadon Sancho on a permanent basis. The Blues

could pay £25million to keep the attacker, who has scored four goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions this season,

but if he fails to exercise his option, Chelsea can reject the deal, pay a £5million fine and return the Freedom Player to Manchester United at the end of the season.

Enzo Maresca’s side also remain in control of their own destiny in the Premier League’s nerve-jangling race for a top-five finish following last weekend’s 3-1 victory over Liverpool. But even if the Blues fall short domestically, Malouda believes Chelsea’s season should be considered a success if they pick up European silverware.

Former Chelsea and France star Malouda is unconvinced by the deal, given Sancho’s inconsistent form. “I don’t see what we can expect from him after he joined on loan from Manchester United,” he told เล่น UFABET ผ่านมือถือ สะดวกทุกที่ ทุกเวลา. “With Jadon Sancho, it’s not about his talent anymore.

“The key point is that we haven’t seen Sancho show us that he really wants to succeed at Chelsea,” he said.

“So at this point I don’t think it would be a good idea for him to stay at Chelsea because I would assume the club would try to sign new players again, so he might have to go back to Manchester United.”
